What Drives This Work
I remember a specific moment during my master’s research. A client—a successful banker in her 40s—broke down and said: “I’ve spent 20 years becoming someone else.” That moment crystallized everything I believe about self-image transformation.
Self-image transformation isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about becoming more fully yourself. It’s about recognizing the gap between who you’re performing to be and who you actually are—and then building a bridge between them.
The unique pressures Hong Kong professionals face are real. There’s the pressure to succeed, to look a certain way, to fit into boxes. My work combines clinical psychology with practical tools—daily affirmations, values-alignment exercises, body-positive mindset practices—that help you stop performing and start living authentically.
What drives me is witnessing that transformative moment when someone stops fighting themselves and starts honoring what matters to them. That’s when real change happens. Not the kind that looks good on Instagram—the kind that actually changes how you feel about yourself.
